Cameryn Junck

Cameryn Junck is a junior at the University of Florida studying public relations with a minor in event management. She has always had a passion for politics and tries to be involved wherever she can be. She is working on Florida District 15’s congressional campaign to increase Democratic presence in smaller communities. When she’s not busy studying for classes or participating in UF Democratic club meetings, Cameryn is usually planning her next vacation. One of her biggest passions in life is traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures.


Elle McMahan

Elle McMahan is an avid journalist interested in all things communications with a passion for public policy. She is a rising sophomore majoring in journalism and political science at the University of Florida. Being elected Student Body Vice and Class Vice President for all four years of high school sparked Elle’s commitment to community leadership. During her freshman year at UF, she dedicated herself to charitable causes. Elle works tirelessly for criminal justice reform, gender inequality issues, voter suppression and advocating for policies that counter racial discrimination.

Emma Plante

Emma grew up with front row seats during New Hampshire’s presidential primaries. She’s a self avowed political junkie and third-year political science and journalism student at Northeastern University. In Fall 2019, Emma interned in the press office of Governor Charlie Baker. Despite having worked in a Republican administration, she is a progressive Democrat, passionate about Democratic Party values. She’s contributed to Northeastern’s newspaper, Huntington News, and in her spare time she hikes, loves good coffee, and talks about Les Misérables to anyone who will listen.


Franny MCCollum

Franny McCollum was born in North Carolina, moving to Maryland at the age of six. Surrounded by the diversity of the District of Columbia, and with a federal employee for a mother, she learned to value working hard for a greater good. She attended the University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland, and earned a degree in Social Anthropology. She moved back stateside to be with her family and take a more active role in her nation’s future. Her interests are varied: from environmental ethics, healthcare, and to stopping voter suppression, Franny adds an ethnographic view to her work.

Isaac Kaufer

Isaac Kaufer is a politics and sports nerd willing to talk or learn about either. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and played on their ultimate frisbee team, and in high school played four years of Soccer, Hockey, and Lacrosse. Isaac gained leadership skills as an in-bunk camp counselor for middle-school boys and hockey coach for all ages and genders. Isaac is a progressive Democrat working for systemic change in addressing climate change, criminal justice, wealth inequality, gerrymandering, and more. He’s also perfected the art of cooking Kraft Mac & Cheese.


Jake Rudolph

Jake Rudolph graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2019 with a degree in communications and political science. He spent much of his college experience as a research assistant studying progressive issues for UConn’s Political Science and Communications departments. When he is not surrounded by books and graphs, Jake fills his time with music. His greatest joys are singing with his college a cappella group and improvising on the the piano. Jake’s gregarious nature is legendary, saying hello to everyone and treating all like an old friend.

Rosemary Watson

Rosemary Watson is a second year at Simmons University in Boston majoring in history. A middle school field trip to the Connecticut State Capitol building sparked Rosemary’s interest in local politics, which soon expanded to the national level. She got the chance to gain experience as an intern with Ed Markey’s senate campaign in the Fall of 2019. Rosemary is a Democrat with a passion for the environment, social justice, and education reform. She enjoys researching and analyzing historical narratives to better understand the impact of current events, and politics. Rosemary reads sci-fi and meets with Simmons Stitches knitting club to relax.


Sofia Noorouzi

Sofia is in her third-year at Northeastern University majoring in journalism. She writes for various student magazines and Northeastern’s radio station. Sofia is enthusiastic about interning at Left of Center because she will gain valuable experience in politics and has an opportunity to live out her Democratic values. She is specifically working with North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District to help bolster the odds of a Democratic win. Sofia is passionate about social and environmental justice and wants to create sustainable fashion line in the future: a dream founded on her love for sewing.

Sonja Chen

Sonja is a junior at Boston University who balances studying journalism and public relations with competing on the university's synchronized skating team. A California native, she grew up surrounded by progressive values and is committed to helping elect Democrats across the country. Sonja is especially passionate about systemic reform in education, environmental policy, and criminal justice. In her spare time, Sonja loves hiking and baking. She is also a huge baseball fan, and will talk your ear off about the Oakland Athletics if you let her.


Victoria Sinclair

This is Victoria Sinclair’s second election season with Left of Center. Her specialties are direct voter contact, organizing and legendary phone banking skills. It takes a person who loves people to put their heart and soul into calling voters to cajole and convince that their vote matters. Victoria is a mom of 3, a Grammy of 6, and love her three four-legged children as well. She is an active member in a number of community organizations and an advocate for parents and children in the public schools. During campaign cycles, Victoria enjoys working as a GOTV specialist because helping people vote is a commitment to make the world a better place.
